Sometimes it is possible to improve on a classic- we've made changes for the better on these shisham wood coffin box burners now with sturdier lid hinges and added cups for cone incense. A common problem that affected many boxes was that the cover would not close properly as it would rub against the side of the box. We eliminated this problem by designing a cover that incorporates the side of the box and uses a special conceled hinge. We've even made them more attractive with special carvings and brass inlay work. Even the door on the hidden storage compartment has an improved hinge! Carvings and brass inlaid designs will vary. |
