A beautiful chalice for ritual and ceremony, this silver-plated cup is a beautiful piece with delicate lines and a slender stem. Etched into the surface to bring out these features express the deep, spiritual nature of the symbolic chalice, is a Celtic Cross. This cross, representing the four elements of wind, water, air, and fire united together by divinity and spirit, is filled with a complex weave of celtic knots. Measuring approximately 7 3/4 in high, the cup is approximately 2 1/2 in in diameter with a mouth that starts at this rim. It extends for several inches continuing with much this same diameter before terminating in a delicate stem that will fit easily between your fingers and a narrow, 2 1/2 in diameter base. |
